A suspended figure.
Il Pezzo 12 Wall Sconce is a brass stem and a crystal suspended at its centre, a vertical line that breaks to make room for the light.
It stands 85 centimetres tall and can live alone or multiply across the wall: beside a mirror, at the sides of a bed, along a corridor or in a composition.
Every piece is made in Florence, in hand-worked brass and solid crystal. Custom heights are available on request.

A solid crystal.
Most of the time a lamp is switched off, and this one is designed to be beautiful then too: the crystal captures natural light and refracts it, alive on the wall even without power. Lit, it fills the wall with living reflections. Two LEDs hidden inside light it from the heart: a soft glow, as intense as it needs to be.
Two more LEDs, at either end of the stem, add two direct beams, upwards and downwards: 1372 lumens at 2700 K in all.
Anatomy of a figure.
One line of brass, a solid crystal at its heart, the technology hidden in the structure. All that stays on the wall is the figure.

Solid crystal
Made by the Crystal Masters of Colle di Val d'Elsa with an exclusive technology, a masterpiece of craftsmanship and engineering. It captures natural light and refracts it; lit, it turns light into living emotion. Its soft shape conceals a sophisticated anchoring and electrification system; a damp cloth is enough to clean it.

Brass stem
Turned and tapered towards the crystal, so that the line seems to run through it unbroken: it is what draws the figure on the wall. The plate anchors the sconce to the wall and hides the electrification; the lower section keeps the Missing Piece.

LED 2700 K · CRI > 95
To achieve generous illumination without ever glaring, we hid two LEDs inside the crystal and one at either end of the stem, for direct light. Overall brightness is 1372 lumens, the colour rendering index is above 95 (it returns the exact colour quality of what it lights) and the temperature is 2700 K: a warm, enveloping light that fills the room and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Included and dimmable (TRIAC / ELV / 0-10V as standard, DALI on request).

Power and safety
Available for European (230 V) or American (120 V) mains, or in a 24 V version for home-automation systems. CE certification and ADA compliance; only safety extra-low voltage runs through the lamp (24V, Class III).

- What is it made of?
- Hand-worked brass and solid crystal made by the Crystal Masters of Colle di Val d'Elsa: a single line of brass that, at its centre, becomes crystal. Every piece is made in our Florence atelier.
- What kind of light does it give?
- Two LEDs hidden in the crystal and one at either end of the stem, 2700 K, CRI > 95: 1372 lumens in all, like roughly 70 halogen watts. A warm, enveloping light that fills the room without ever glaring.
- Where can it be installed?
- In entrances, corridors, bathrooms and bedrooms: beside a mirror, in pairs at the sides of a bed, in sequence along corridors and staircases. It is 85 cm tall (custom heights on request), ADA compliant, available for European (230 V) or American (120 V) mains or in a 24 V version, with a dimmable remote driver included.
- Which finishes are available?
- Gold, Black / Gold, Nickel, Bronze and Satin Brass, plus custom finishes on request.
- Is it a numbered piece?
- Yes. Hidden in the structure is a brass cylinder engraved with a unique number: it is the Missing Piece, the signature that makes every creation unrepeatable.
- What should I do if an LED stops working?
- The LEDs are guaranteed for 10 years under normal use. Should one go out, we take care of everything: contact us and we will restore the electronics in our Florence atelier.
