A brass ring carries three crystals in an endless rotation.
A colour that never left us.
I took this photograph from the back of a dromedary, in the Moroccan desert. Ahead of us, our guide. On him, that blue.
A blue so saturated it seemed impossible amid all that sand. Yet it has been there for centuries: the blue of the Tuareg, the same that Jacques Majorelle brought to his garden in Marrakech.
That colour never left us again.

The lamp comes with a small rotary remote. We call it the Pigino. Turn it on and watch the reflections of the Colle di Val d'Elsa crystals dance across the wall.
A marble sculpture.
Carved from a block of Calacatta Oro, or Royal Black marble for the dark version, the base is sculpted in Massa-Carrara with the precision of a sculpture, and holds within it all the electronics that usually live in an external box.
Hidden in that same marble, a small cylinder engraved with a unique number: it is Il Pezzo Mancante (the missing piece). Whoever removes it takes a fragment of the lamp with them, and becomes its keeper.
Anatomy of a balance.
Marble, brass and crystal, and nothing else in sight. The technology (driver, dimmer and LEDs) is hidden in the base, so that only a pure form remains in the room.

Marble base
Calacatta Oro or Royal Black, sculpted in Massa-Carrara and polished until it feels soft and pleasant to the touch. A monolith hollowed out almost entirely, to house driver and smart dimmer inside with nothing left in sight.

Three solid crystals
The Crystal Masters of Colle di Val d'Elsa make them with an exclusive technology. The soft form conceals a sophisticated anchoring and electrification system that ensures its stability. Beyond its refractions, the solid crystal needs no maintenance: a damp cloth is enough to clean it.

Smart dimmer
Switching on and off and adjusting the intensity happen through a small rotary remote, the Pigino. And it is smart: compatible with Tuya, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Smart Life.

The brass structure is hot-curved by hand, an elliptical form that lives in balance on the monolithic base and carries the crystals in an endless rotation.

To achieve substantial lighting without ever dazzling, we hid six LEDs inside the crystals. Total output is around 1,800 lumens, the colour rendering index is above 95 (it renders the exact colour quality of whatever it lights) and the temperature is 2700 K: a warm, enveloping light that fills the room and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Un anello d'ottone porta tre cristalli in una rotazione infinita.
Un colore che non ci ha mai lasciati.
Questa foto l'ho scattata dal dorso di un dromedario, nel deserto del Marocco. Davanti a noi, la nostra guida. Su di lui, quel blu.
Un blu così saturo da sembrare impossibile in mezzo a tutta quella sabbia. Eppure è lì da secoli: il blu dei Tuareg, lo stesso che Jacques Majorelle portò nel suo giardino a Marrakech.
Quel colore non ci ha più lasciati.

La lampada è accompagnata da un piccolo telecomando rotativo. Lo chiamiamo Pigino. Accendila e guarda i riflessi dei cristalli di Colle di Val d'Elsa danzare sulla parete.
Scultura di marmo.
Ricavata da un blocco di Calacatta Oro, o marmo Royal Black per la versione scura, la base è scolpita a Massa-Carrara con la precisione di una scultura, e ospita dentro di sé tutta l'elettronica che di solito vive in una scatola esterna.
Nascosto in quello stesso marmo, un piccolo cilindro inciso con un numero unico: è Il Pezzo Mancante. Chi lo estrae porta con sé un frammento della lampada, e ne diventa custode.
Anatomia di un equilibrio.
Marmo, ottone e cristallo, e nient'altro in vista. La tecnologia (driver, dimmer e LED) è nascosta nella base, perché nello spazio resti soltanto una forma pura.

Calacatta Oro o Royal Black, scolpita a Massa-Carrara e levigata fino a farsi morbida e piacevole al tatto. Un monolite svuotato quasi per intero, per ospitare al suo interno driver e dimmer smart senza che nulla resti a vista.

Per ottenere un'illuminazione importante senza mai abbagliare, abbiamo nascosto sei LED all'interno dei cristalli. La luminosità complessiva è di circa 1.800 lumen, l'indice di resa cromatica è superiore a 95 (restituisce l’esatta qualità cromatica di ciò che illumina) e la temperatura è di 2700 K: una luce calda e avvolgente, che riempie la stanza e crea un'atmosfera piacevole.

Un anneau de laiton porte trois cristaux dans une rotation infinie.
Une couleur qui ne nous a jamais quittés.
J'ai pris cette photo sur le dos d'un dromadaire, dans le désert marocain. Devant nous, notre guide. Sur lui, ce bleu.
Un bleu si saturé qu'il semblait impossible au milieu de tout ce sable. Pourtant il est là depuis des siècles : le bleu des Touaregs, le même que Jacques Majorelle a apporté dans son jardin à Marrakech.
Cette couleur ne nous a plus quittés.

Allumez-la d'un geste.
La lampe est livrée avec une petite télécommande rotative. Nous l'appelons le Pigino. Allumez-la et regardez les reflets des cristaux de Colle di Val d'Elsa danser sur le mur.
Sculpture de marbre.
Taillée dans un bloc de Calacatta Oro, ou de marbre Royal Black pour la version sombre, la base est sculptée à Massa-Carrara avec la précision d'une sculpture, et abrite en elle toute l'électronique qui vit d'ordinaire dans un boîtier externe.
Caché dans ce même marbre, un petit cylindre gravé d'un numéro unique : c'est Il Pezzo Mancante (la pièce manquante). Celui qui le retire emporte avec lui un fragment de la lampe et en devient le gardien.
Anatomie d'un équilibre.
Marbre, laiton et cristal, et rien d'autre en vue. La technologie (driver, variateur et LED) est cachée dans la base, pour qu'il ne reste dans l'espace qu'une forme pure.

Calacatta Oro ou Royal Black, sculptée à Massa-Carrara et polie jusqu'à devenir douce et agréable au toucher. Un monolithe presque entièrement évidé, pour loger en son sein le driver et le variateur intelligent sans que rien ne reste visible.

Les Maîtres du Cristal de Colle di Val d'Elsa les réalisent avec une technologie exclusive. La forme douce dissimule un système sophistiqué d'ancrage et d'électrification qui en garantit la stabilité. Au-delà de ses réfractions, le cristal massif ne demande aucun entretien : un chiffon humide suffit à le nettoyer.

Pour obtenir un éclairage important sans jamais éblouir, nous avons caché six LED à l'intérieur des cristaux. Le flux total est d'environ 1 800 lumens, l'indice de rendu des couleurs est supérieur à 95 (il restitue la qualité chromatique exacte de ce qu'il éclaire) et la température est de 2700 K : une lumière chaude et enveloppante, qui remplit la pièce et crée une atmosphère agréable.

Eine Farbe, die uns nie verlassen hat.
Dieses Foto habe ich vom Rücken eines Dromedars aus aufgenommen, in der marokkanischen Wüste. Vor uns, unser Führer. An ihm, dieses Blau.
Ein Blau, so gesättigt, dass es inmitten all des Sandes unmöglich schien. Und doch ist es seit Jahrhunderten da: das Blau der Tuareg, dasselbe, das Jacques Majorelle in seinen Garten in Marrakesch brachte.
Diese Farbe hat uns nie wieder verlassen.

Skulptur aus Marmor.
Aus einem Block Calacatta Oro gehauen, oder Royal Black-Marmor für die dunkle Version, wird der Sockel in Massa-Carrara mit der Präzision einer Skulptur gefertigt und birgt in seinem Inneren die gesamte Elektronik, die sonst in einem externen Gehäuse sitzt.
In eben diesem Marmor verborgen, ist ein kleiner, mit einer einzigartigen Nummer gravierter Zylinder Il Pezzo Mancante (das fehlende Stück). Wer ihn entnimmt, trägt ein Fragment der Leuchte mit sich und wird zu ihrem Hüter.

Die Kristallmeister von Colle di Val d'Elsa fertigen sie mit einer exklusiven Technologie. Die weiche Form verbirgt ein ausgeklügeltes Verankerungs- und Elektrifizierungssystem, das ihre Stabilität sichert. Über seine Lichtbrechungen hinaus braucht der massive Kristall keine Pflege: Ein feuchtes Tuch genügt zur Reinigung.

I took this photograph from the back of a dromedary, in the Moroccan desert. Ahead of us, our guide. On him, that blue.
A blue so saturated it seemed impossible amid all that sand. Yet it has been there for centuries: the blue of the Tuareg, the same that Jacques Majorelle brought to his garden in Marrakech.
That colour never left us again.

The lamp comes with a small rotary remote. We call it the Pigino. Turn it on and watch the reflections of the Colle di Val d'Elsa crystals dance across the wall.
A marble sculpture.
Carved from a block of Calacatta Oro, or Royal Black marble for the dark version, the base is sculpted in Massa-Carrara with the precision of a sculpture, and holds within it all the electronics that usually live in an external box.
Hidden in that same marble, a small cylinder engraved with a unique number: it is Il Pezzo Mancante (the missing piece). Whoever removes it takes a fragment of the lamp with them, and becomes its keeper.
Anatomy of a balance.
Marble, brass and crystal, and nothing else in sight. The technology (driver, dimmer and LEDs) is hidden in the base, so that only a pure form remains in the room.

Calacatta Oro or Royal Black, sculpted in Massa-Carrara and polished until it feels soft and pleasant to the touch. A monolith hollowed out almost entirely, to house driver and smart dimmer inside with nothing left in sight.

Three solid crystals
The Crystal Masters of Colle di Val d'Elsa make them with an exclusive technology. The soft form conceals a sophisticated anchoring and electrification system that ensures its stability. Beyond its refractions, the solid crystal needs no maintenance: a damp cloth is enough to clean it.

Smart dimmer
Switching on and off and adjusting the intensity happen through a small rotary remote, the Pigino. And it is smart: compatible with Tuya, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Smart Life.

The brass structure is hot-curved by hand, an elliptical form that lives in balance on the monolithic base and carries the crystals in an endless rotation.

To achieve substantial lighting without ever dazzling, we hid six LEDs inside the crystals. Total output is around 1,800 lumens, the colour rendering index is above 95 (it renders the exact colour quality of whatever it lights) and the temperature is 2700 K: a warm, enveloping light that fills the room and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Questa foto l'ho scattata dal dorso di un dromedario, nel deserto del Marocco. Davanti a noi, la nostra guida. Su di lui, quel blu.
Un blu così saturo da sembrare impossibile in mezzo a tutta quella sabbia. Eppure è lì da secoli: il blu dei Tuareg, lo stesso che Jacques Majorelle portò nel suo giardino a Marrakech.
Quel colore non ci ha più lasciati.

Scultura di marmo.

Un anneau de laiton porte trois cristaux dans une rotation infinie.
Une couleur qui ne nous a jamais quittés.
J'ai pris cette photo sur le dos d'un dromadaire, dans le désert marocain. Devant nous, notre guide. Sur lui, ce bleu.
Un bleu si saturé qu'il semblait impossible au milieu de tout ce sable. Pourtant il est là depuis des siècles : le bleu des Touaregs, le même que Jacques Majorelle a apporté dans son jardin à Marrakech.
Cette couleur ne nous a plus quittés.

Allumez-la d'un geste.
La lampe est livrée avec une petite télécommande rotative. Nous l'appelons le Pigino. Allumez-la et regardez les reflets des cristaux de Colle di Val d'Elsa danser sur le mur.
Sculpture de marbre.
Taillée dans un bloc de Calacatta Oro, ou de marbre Royal Black pour la version sombre, la base est sculptée à Massa-Carrara avec la précision d'une sculpture, et abrite en elle toute l'électronique qui vit d'ordinaire dans un boîtier externe.
Caché dans ce même marbre, un petit cylindre gravé d'un numéro unique : c'est Il Pezzo Mancante (la pièce manquante). Celui qui le retire emporte avec lui un fragment de la lampe et en devient le gardien.

Dieses Foto habe ich vom Rücken eines Dromedars aus aufgenommen, in der marokkanischen Wüste. Vor uns, unser Führer. An ihm, dieses Blau.
Ein Blau, so gesättigt, dass es inmitten all des Sandes unmöglich schien. Und doch ist es seit Jahrhunderten da: das Blau der Tuareg, dasselbe, das Jacques Majorelle in seinen Garten in Marrakesch brachte.
Diese Farbe hat uns nie wieder verlassen.

Messingring
Die Messingstruktur wird von Hand heiß gebogen, eine elliptische Form, die im Gleichgewicht auf dem monolithischen Sockel ruht und die Kristalle in endloser Rotation trägt.

LED 2700 K · CRI > 95
Um eine kräftige Beleuchtung ohne jede Blendung zu erreichen, haben wir sechs LEDs im Inneren der Kristalle verborgen. Der Gesamtlichtstrom liegt bei rund 1.800 Lumen, der Farbwiedergabeindex über 95 (er gibt die genaue Farbqualität des Beleuchteten wieder) und die Temperatur beträgt 2700 K: ein warmes, umhüllendes Licht, das den Raum füllt und eine angenehme Atmosphäre schafft.
